- He spent his childhood years in Virginia Beach, Virginia and has described the process of growing up saying “it sucked but I love it”.
- His parents decided to part ways when he was quite young and his childhood years were spent between the homes of his father and his mother.
- Growing up, Lil Tracy used to listen to emo music as well as to southern hip-hop artists who also inspired him to make music.
- He started his musical pursuits when he was 15 years old.
- At the age of 17, he went homeless.
- Lil Tracy relocated to Los Angeles, California from Virginia when he was 18 years old in order to focus more on his career in music. He did not inform his parents about his decision and moved when he was still homeless.

- Later, Lil Tracy, along with some other members of Thraxxhouse collective, decided to make a new group, the collective Gothboiclique.

- Lil Tracy left the Thraxxhouse collective in the mid-2016 and, hence, changed his name from Yung Bruh to Lil Tracy as there already existed an artist who went by the same name, Yung Bruh.
