Julia Ormond made her first TV show appearance by playing the role of Caroline Lithgow, the drug-addicted daughter of the lead character named Jack Lithgow, in an episode, titled The Addict, of the crime drama series, Traffik, in June 1989. The other cast members of the show were Bill Paterson, Lindsay Duncan, Juraj Kukura, Latif Kapadia, Rahat Kazmi, Jamal Shah, Fritz Müller-Scherz, Tilo Prückner, and several others.
